Salida is ve...Shane, it's actually not unusual. Salida is very arid. Average annual precip here is about 10", Tucson, AZ has about 12" annually. Last winter even when the local mountains and Monarch Ski Area had a huge amount of snow, we literally could ride bikes on these trails every day of the winter.<br /><br />We are spoiled.
